Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an account? Does myRX upload my data?

No account is required. myRX is offline-first and stores your entries locally on your device. There is no server for your health data. Sharing and export only happen when you choose to share.

What can I track in myRX?

You can track prescriptions/medications, log dose events (“I took it”), manage appointments, and record blood pressure readings with timestamps (and optional pulse/notes).

How do reminders work? Will they work offline?

Reminders are scheduled on your device and do not require internet. Your phone’s notification settings and battery optimization settings can affect delivery (especially on Android).

Can I share something with my doctor?

Yes. myRX can generate a shareable medication/appointment summary, and a blood pressure report (CSV + summary). You decide what to share and where to send it (email, messaging, drive, etc.).

Is my data protected?

myRX can be protected with a PIN and (on supported devices) biometrics. For best results, enable a device lock screen and keep your phone secure.
